Carnival Day
Some general sights. Unfortunately I cannot reproduce the tastes, smells and sounds for you. I had some 'Rice and Peas' and a beef patti. 'A new combination' the lady muttered as she handed it to me. Didn't do much for my confidence but it tasted really good.
I could have made an MP3 file for the sounds but unless your computer is equipped with a couple of 1kW amplifiers, together with matching speakers, one to strap to your head and the other to your chest, then I couldn't really do it justice.
The last shot is of a couple of good friends that accompanied me. The next to last photo is me and the wife of the couple. As a friend he has loaned me his wife to try to ensure that the picture of me trying to look cool does not result in me looking completely stupid - well thanks for the thought Ole.
